Practical Architecture Methodology for Enterprise Computing

Pragmatic Architecture Method (PAM) is an agile architecture approach for planning, defining, designing, building, operating and rationalizing a holistic enterprise computing environment in a lifecycle fashion. It is composed of a set of methodical and systematic approaches and models that comprehensively address the challenges and issues in heterogeneous distributed solutions, resulting from a number of years of real-world field engagements in large-scale complex enterprise projects.

The integral components of PAM are illustrated in the following diagram.

An overarching toolkit has been constructed to facilitate the use of this method, with a number of artifacts and work products to assist practitioners. It has been extensively utilized in numerous initiatives with a proven track record of success and values. Please contact the author for details.
